It's never been easier to start playing handbells with preschoolers or K/1 children.
A printable, reproducible collection of six familiar children’s songs and hymns written for 1-octave colored handbells (8 bells).
Two versions of each song are included: one with colored letter names and one with colored noteheads on a music staff. Colors match the popular Rhythm Band handbells and Boomwhackers.
Written for just 8 bells, these pieces are easy to put together and accessible for smaller (and younger) groups of 4-8 ringers.
Songs include:
Jesus Loves Me - a classic children's hymn
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star - a well-known folk song, perfect for a creation theme!
Joyful, Joyful - great for the season after Easter, or at the beginning of a new church/school year
Praise Him, Praise Him - a general song of praise that works well for Children's Sunday
I've Got Peace Like a River - includes optional verses about love and joy
Amazing Grace - a classic folk hymn based on the pentatonic scale
